Moreno从1998年开始定居北京，并在北京现代音乐学院教授爵士钢琴，他热爱教育事业，认真了解每一名学生的所思所想，他认为现在中国的学生学习钢琴太注重技术方面的技巧,

反而削弱了音乐素养上的表现。学琴者不能忘了钢琴最灵魂的东西,尤其是对于情感的表达。他还主张学生学琴的同时还要多看书、听音乐会,增强自身的文化修养。

在这十几年的时间里培养出一大批人才，其中有不少目前已经成为优秀的专业演奏家和教育者。为我国的音乐教学事业做出了突出的贡献。多次被评为北音风云人物，并为北音编撰《The Jazz Ensemble》等30本爵士乐专业教材。也多次在全中国各大音乐院校以及剧场如东莞、深圳、沈阳、大连、锦州、吉林等开办大师班课程。2013年起，他参与ISPIANO钢琴教学软件制作。ISPIANO是中国第一款专门针对电子琴和钢琴使用开发的互动软件，它包括一系列的钢琴学习视频，针对于从初学者到专业的所有级别。Moreno在ISPIANO里记录了关于古典、流行音乐和爵士乐等2000 首曲子。

Moreno has resided in Beijing since 1998, and been teaching Jazz piano at Beijing Contemporary Music Academy. He loves teaching and tries to understand every student’s thoughts. He thinks that Chinese students today care too much about technical skills while learning piano, and thus weakened the performance of musical accomplishment. Piano learners should not forget the soul of piano, especially emotion expressions. He urges that students should also read books, go to concerts and enhance culture accomplishment while studying piano.

In the last decades, he has trained large number of talents whom partially became excellent professional performers and educators. He has made outstanding contributions to the music teaching in our country, and was rated as the Person of Beijing Contemporary Music Academy. He compiled many Jazz music teaching materials such as The Jazz Ensemble, and offered master classes in various major musical academies and theatres in different cities of China, such as Dongguan, Shenzhen, Shenyang, Dalian, Jinzhou, Jilin etc. Since 2013, he participated in producing piano teaching software ISPIANO, the first interactive software developed specially for electric and acoustic piano in China. ISPIANO includes a series of piano learning videos with levers for beginners to professionals. Moreno recorded 2000 songs including classical, pop, Jazz and other types of music in ISPIANO.
